Committees

A town hall meeting does not have the continuity of regularly scheduled meetings. To be useful a town hall meeting needs to be able to form a bridge to a future town hall meeting.

Motion M2014-004

Whereas a town hall meeting needs to be able to produce useful results

and Whereas town hall meetings are not regularly scheduled

and Whereas striking committees would provide a bridge between town hall meetings

now therefore be it Resolved

that committees will be struck to do the work necessary to form the basis for a future town hall meeting

and be it further Resolved that the work of a committee will result in motions for a subsequent town hall meeting to consider

and be it further resolved that motions from committees will automatically be included on the agenda of future town hall meetings

and be it further Resolved that committees will dissolve themselves when they feel that their work is complete
