Seniors Services

A community is measured by the way it treats its seniors and children.

Motion M2014-008

Whereas Denbigh has a significant seniors population

and Whereas some seniors are living alone

and Whereas access to services and supplies is difficult in Denbigh

now therefore be it Resolved

that a committee be struck to investigate ways and means by which the community could assist and support its seniors

and be it further resolved that the committee report back on possible means to assist seniors in obtaining supplies such as groceries and other household goods

and be it further Resolved that the committee report back on possible means to assist seniors with transportation

and be it further Resolved that the committee report back on possible means to assist seniors with property maintenance

and be it further Resolved that the committee report back on possible means to assist seniors with health care and health maintenance

and be it further Resolved that the committee provide such other recommendations as it deems worthwhile
