Ambulance Service

Whereas it would be unwise to not attempt to prepare for the possible closing of the Denbigh ambulance base;

and Whereas, if the base closes, there may be no government assistance for a replacement service for the Denbigh ambulance base;

and Whereas some form of medical transport is important to both individuals and the community;

and Whereas it would probably not be legal for the community to attempt to provide any form of services open to the public;

and Whereas members of the community may be legally able to mutually agree to provide medical transport amongst themselves;

now therefore be it Resolved that the Denbigh Townhall further investigate the possibility of members of the community mutually agreeing to provide medical transport amongst themselves.

Passed with 2/3 majority.
