Motion 2014-013

Whereas Ms. Dagg-Foster of the Ministry of the Environment stated that the Ministry bases their decisions on “the science”;

and Whereas science is based on measured data and testable theories;

and Whereas the Denbigh Townhall letter of May 15, 2014 requested that Ms. Dagg-Foster indicate where the Townhall could gain access to the data that was used to scientifically modify the Certificates of Approval for Addington Highlands;

and Whereas the said modifications are both expensive and legally binding;

and Whereas Ms. Dagg-Foster did not either provide the requested data or indicate that the data does not exist;

Now therefore be it Resolved that the response provided by Ms. Dagg-Foster to the Townhall's letter of May 15, 2014 be declared unhelpful and inadequate.
