Voting

A townhall meeting should make its decisions based on strong majority of the voters at the meeting.

Additionally, a townhall meeting should not terminate discussion without a strong majority of the voters at the meeting agreeing to the termination.

Without either a strong majority in favour of accepting the discussion or a strong majority opposed to continuing the discussion, the discussion should be considered undecided and should, therefore, continue.

At the meeting of 28 April 2014 motion M2014-003 was carried.

M2014-003 specifies that a vote requires a 2/3 majority in favour to carry or a 2/3 or a 2/3 majority opposed to be lost. Otherwise the vote is undecided and discussion continues.
